A mainnet is an independent blockchain where the coin has no dependencies on its parent chain. For instance, ETH is a mainnet whereas ERC-20 tokens depend on the ETH mainnet.

Market Makers provide liquidity to a specific asset by populating the order book with orders that are set for execution as either a bid or an ask of a given asset, coin or token. Market Makers contribute to the market and price discovery. Market Makers typically collect a nominal fee for their contribution to the order book. The trade execution and clearing are either performed on their own account or for a client.

A form of psychology that observes the overall behavior of financial market participants at a specific point in time. Sometimes investor behavior can be a black swan event that drives the direction of a market. Market psychology may also study the behavior of an individual investor to find a trend in a cohort of investors.
